In-Person Shopping Opportunities, Fall and Winter 2024/2025:

We are currently putting together the line up for our 2024/2025 fall and winter craft market season. This year we are expanding our in person shopping opportunities outside of California!

  • Our first market of the year will be Saturday, October 5th in Richmond, Virginia! Come hang out with us at Richmond Makers Market’s Spooktoberfest from 12pm to 6pm.

Can I place a custom order?

Fall and Winter are our busy season, because of this we are are not currently accepting custom orders.

Custom orders will reopen at the end of January 2025.

Do you teach knitting lessons?

Yes! We offer private individual and group knitting lessons. Please email thrasherknits@gmail.com if interested.

What’s the difference between all the materials?

Our most used materials are Merino and Peruvian wool. We use these natural fibers almost exclusively because they offer many benefits for both our customers and the planet! They are soft and warm without being scratchy. They are also odor and static resistant, moisture-wicking, breathable, and biodegradable!

While both come from South American sheep, Merino wool is considered a luxury fiber because of its extreme softness and plush texture. Peruvian wool offers many of the same benefits of Merino wool, such as oder, static, and moisture resistance. We source Peruvian wool of the highest quality available—which means that it is soft and not scratchy.

There are two other materials you may occasionally see in our shop:

  • Alpaca and merino wool blend items are the softest items we offer! They are very lightweight while also being extremely warm—their versatility makes this a great fall to spring option!
  • Organic & Pima cotton items are great for anyone with a wool allergy or fiber sensitivity. They are lightweight and breathable.
  • Both organic cotton and Alpaca/Merino items are also 100% biodegradable!

We take pride in sourcing high quality and luxury fibers from companies that are committed to ethical practices and sustainability. These companies ensure that their supply chain is eco-friendly and socially responsible, by providing fair wages and ethical working conditions. They also use exclusively environmentally safe dyes.

Furthermore, we love animals and are committed to only sourcing wool yarns from companies that do not practice mulesing on their sheep. We also use pom poms that are made with cruelty-free faux fur fabric and vegan ultra-suede tags on all our products.

At Thrasher Knits, we strive to source materials that are as ethical, sustainable, and eco-friendly as possible and are therefore phasing out all other types of yarn.

What is your turnaround time?

Finished items listed on the website are ready to ship and will be mailed out within 3 to 5 business days.

Custom order turnaround times will vary depending on items and quantity ordered. Generally, we ask for a 1 to 2 week turnaround per item ordered, before shipping.

When will my order ship and how much will it cost?

Finished items ordered though the website will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days. Once custom orders are completed, they will also be shipped out within 3 to 5 business days.

We ship exclusively through USPS. Shipping cost is calculated based on weight, dimensions and destination. All orders will include a tracking number.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time.

What is your return or refund policy?

While returns and exchanges are not guaranteed, we want you to be happy with your order and will do our best to help should any problems arise. Please email us at thrasherknits@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order; please include your order number in your email.

There are no returns or exchanges on custom orders.

What if my package is lost?

If you do not receive your package within 4 weeks of shipping, I will consider it lost.

If your package is lost, I will fully refund or replace it. Timeline will vary based on schedule and availability.
